Jimmy Scott

...one of my new obsesssions

this is a track from the Twin Peaks movie, arranged by the wonderful Angelo Badalamenti.

Jimmy Scott began his career in the 1940s and has a fabulous catalog of jazz standards, but I had never heard of him until recently...he has a genetic condition that effects his voice - makes his singing voice sound feminine, so much so that people are always surprised to find out that he is a man (as was I)...so much depth and beauty - soul, I love him.
