Just a quick note to anyone thinking of trying Warhammer Online: There is a free 10-day trial available if you have, or sign up for, an account on FilePlanet. Be careful though. The download is 6.4 GB...yes, Gigabytes! It took me over three hours to download at about 560 Kb/sec. Details are on the Warhammer online website, which is warhammeronline.com.
So far, I am enjoying it. I like the art style better than WoW. I've never played WoW, only watched, so I can't speak to the differences or similarities in gameplay. I have some friends that are going to try it as well. If they like it and want to play, then I'll probably buy it. They play WoW a lot right now, so this will have to be pretty damn good for them to switch.
