If Ronald D. Moore wrote it, Michael Mann directed, Spielberg produced, Hans Zimmer scored it, and I was given creative control? I'd consider it.
I've never seen a pornographic film worth watching; the entire industry is a self-parody. There's no real effort. It's the same tired crap with the same plastic people over and over. The only porn movies that are known for being good are the originals, the genre-definers. And even those are the same crap. I'd be interested in storytelling, actually creating and performing art. And I don't mean Casablanca with penetration. Sexuality is a great tool in communicating the human condition because for so many of us it plays such an important role in our lives. There are societal aspects, religious aspects, political aspects, visceral aspects; sex is part of life. It's not just "I'm here to fix your sink as a pretense to fuck you." or a parody of a non-pornographic movie like "Pirates" (which is supposed to be some sort of ground-breaking porno).
I don't care about my friends seeing it. I don't need the money. I'd just get bored and frustrated working on the set of "Unsightly Pizza Boy has sex with Stupid Blonde Housewife with fake double Es, nipples on her neck, and a bleached asshole, part 12".
