Skins (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A friend of mine is absolutely obsessed with this series and insists on my watching the whole thing with her. To be honest, I wasn't really thrilled with it for a while. The first and second series revolved around a somewhat cookie-cutter group of friends, but the writing was at least pushing the limits. While your average high school drama does involved drugs, I've never really seen one that accurately portrays a drug lifestyle, and Skins managed to do a halfway decent job, though occasionally they'd go over the top. The show was also a bit more matter-of-fact about homosexuality than your average teen drama.
Anyway, I was really only half interested until this last episode, Spoiler:
when they finally introduced a likable character, Thomas.
Has anyone else been watching this? Any opinions?
