to the OP - we have a DVD of the lady trainer from Biggest Loser (Jillian) and we've been using it for about a week. I am purposefully not looking at my weight until after a month, but we do it every day and it BUSTS YOUR ASS! I would say it's a good product because it provides a good means to getting cardio in and she is convincing at making you not give up.

I beg to differ. 100 lbs in 10 weeks is perfectly healthy if you do it under supervision and do it the *right* way - working out and eating healthy. And that's just what these people do - just at a faster pace. They work out for 8 hours a day and eat extremely healthy.

Eat plenty of varied fruits and veggies with lean meats (and some whole grains here and there) spread across 6 or so meals a day. Eat when you're hungry, until you're full, and then stop. Couple that with at least 45 minutes of strenuous exercise a day, both aerobic and some strength training. You won't lose 100 lbs. in 10 weeks, but if you're 100 lbs. overweight you're shouldn't expect to be better in anything less than a year anyway.
I've tried this routine before and it just didn't work for me. I ate until I was full and worked out for one hour and thirty minutes every single day and I lost 3 lbs in 5 months. Then I lost 50 lbs in 6 months by eating half of what I usually ate and working out. The reason many people are overweight is because their body doesn't tell them when they are truly full. My body and mind tell me to keep eating and eating until my stomach hurts. I've struggled with it my entire life.
