Over 9 feet of snow and counting
Just last night around 4:00am, the city decided to plow our road for the first time in almost a week. They pushed the snow back a little from the edge of the road to make room for the next 18 feet or so that is expected this season. The snowbank left across the road from us was larger than I've seen on a city street (I've seen some close to this in parking lots near the end of winter in Wisconsin) and I had to take a pic to share. I had to edit the people from the top of the 'mountain' as the neighborhood children couldn't resist the mound and were climbing on it all afternoon from school till suppertime.
We are expecting another 9 inches of snow this weekend. I'm hoping to post a couple more photos of the spectaular levels of snow. I'm enjoying the novelty of it still. I hope it doesn't wear off.
The best part of all this snow is that it's not been nearly as cold as it would have been farther south. Lake Superior does seem to have a mediating effect on our temperatures, thankfully.
So here's a pic taken from our side of the street of my SO and me. Thanks for checking it out. Sorry about the quality, haven't messed with photos on the computer in a while and need to get a decent photo editing software.
