I like to put bacon or vegetarian breakfast sausage in weird things. Generally, I like the combination of sweet and salty, and so pursue odd combinations to that end. If there is bacon and/or sausage being consumed, it should be eaten with maple syrup. If I am making chocolate cookies, I sprinkle sea salt on them as they come out of the oven (I served cookies this way on Election Night; they were a big hit), so you get that hit of salt and sweet. I dip French fries in all sorts of strange things in pursuit of that sweet and salty mix.
This so reminds me of the cheese and Nutella thread.
