it always depended on the particular pet that was around at the time.
the guy i was with last had two cats that couldn't care less. just kind of sit and watch sometimes...perverts :P
and my old dog caught the hint after being shoved away.
but the last cat i had would basically attack. i mean, seriously....drawing blood.
so obviously he got banished to a bedroom.
