The suspicions of Mr Whicher
Anyone else read this? It's won quite a few awards in the UK, but I dont know how it went down in the US - being that its about a famous English case and all. I know its a cliche, but once I started (on Boxing Day) I literally couldnt put it down and read the whole thing in one day.
Its definitely the best detective story Ive ever read (and it is the original detective story pretty much)
No spoilers, but right until the truth was revealed I didnt know which way it was going to go - and when you do find out, its like a punch in the guts.
I'd recomend it for anyone who likes crime novels, is interested in history, or just likes a puzzle to try and crack...
