I was lucky to see the 917's racing in person in the CanAm series races at Watkins Glen for a few years. It's an awesome racecar and it was interesting to note Porsche's developments over that period of time. What a great period in balls-out racing.
I would love to own and drive something super light like that 909 Bergspyder at track day events. While I'd like to try an open wheel racecar for comparison, I think I prefer sports cars and sports prototype stuff over open wheel.
