A plane crash it pretty much the standard when it comes to murdering people. There are so many things that can go wrong, and it isn't that out of the ordinary for one of these things to go wrong. The evidence site is usually just a pile of rubble. It's all pretty convenient.
Were doing anything that the current US Gov't didn't care for (or certain international banking institutions or certain intelligence organizations) I would make absolutely sure that I could trust everybody coming within sabatoge-ing distance of my plane.
