I have a set of silver flatware from either 1938 or 1936. It belonged to my husband's grandparents. I think that's the oldest thing we own.
The thing I have had the longest is a record player that I got for Christmas when I had just turned five. I'm *almost* 43 now; you can do the math. I wonder if it still works.
