There's always been doom and gloom theories and every time they've eventually been wrong. Every time people figure out a way to survive, even thrive. Time and patients, time patients and work. Even in the worst of times, say during WWI and WWII people found a way to get by. War, death, food rations, gas coupons. Sooner or later the hard times pass and things improve.
Right now things look bad. We'll come through. Have we hit the bottom? I seriously doubt it. How bad is going to get? Hell if I know. Don't know how long it's going to last either. I do know people are resourceful SOB's.
I also know every movie I've ever seen ends the same way- with music playing and the credits scrolling.
