see a podiatrist (a foot doctor). 
 
i had a lot of problems with my feet  when i was running as teenager. i  saw a podiatrist and he fixed up my problem almost immediately. 
 
it may be that you dont need orthotics, but see a podiatrist for good measure. they would probably be best to advise you on what type of shoes best suit your feet.
