Ok, this is the research I've done on drug tests and smoking weed. From what I've read (everything after this is opinion and internet research) the standard drug test for most jobs is a urine test. Some places do blood tests and if this is your case you are SOL, you can't cheat one of those. Anyway, 50ml is the THC threshold for standard unine tests. How much THC is in your system depends on a few physical attrubtues.
How big are you? THC resides in fat cells and when fat cells break down the THC is throw into your waste removal system (I am not familiar with the inter-workings for the human anatomy) and then pissed into a toilet or into a cup. The fatter you are, the longer THC stays in your system.
Two, you have already said you are not a chronic smoker, but what is your weekly rate? Once a day, once a week, once a month? The more you smoke on a regular basis the more THC has crept into your fat cells. One Month for anyone no matter how fat or much you smoke will get it all out of your system. Hair samples can show more than a month or so, but most places just do piss.
Drink ALOT of water and do some kind of exercise to try to burn those fat cells that have THC in them. I've seen a medium build guy who was a chronic smoker drink himself stupid with water (almost putting him in the ER) and pass one in a day. If you drink alot of water and no other colas/tea/coffee then your piss will be clear. Some places will send that back because you can't get a good read from that. Vitamin B12 will make your piss dark if you worry about that. Not a chronic smoker and smaller guy? 3-5 days of heavy water consumption and exercise, you can pass one.
I am on the fence about drug tests. They really only hurt pot smokers as other drugs are out of your system in 3 days and most of the hard drugs have visual signs you can see. I don't want anyone who has my physical life in their hands doing ANY drugs. Nor anyone who could be a danger to anyone around them (school bus driver, trucker carrying high bio-hazardous material, crane operator). I don't like hard drugs (crack, coke, opiate-based, or anything made in a bathtub) so I don't think ANYONE should do them. Pot.... it shouldn't be a drug, it should be the same as alcohol. Restricted, only allowed in certain places, and not allowed for on the job use. It's fun with friends, just don't let it BE your life. /soapbox
