We had these mentioned on here a couple years ago. I think they'd be great. I couldn't buy the Latex one because of my allergy to Latex so I waited. I have maybe 1-2 periods a year now so why spend the money on it. If I had to deal with Aunt flo on the normal regular basis though... I'd DEFINATELY be investing in one of these.
I've heard a lot of good stuff about them.
Mellu - Thanks so much for sharing.
I don't know why I never even thought of it before. I used cloth diapers for my daughter when she was a baby. It really bothered me very little to use the cloth diapers. My daughter's Dr even asked me to demostrate a couple times for her how I put the diapers on because she has several patients who needed to use them for their children because of diaper rash or other problems.
I have quit using tampons except if I need protection when I want to go swimming and Aunt Flo is around (Though that's rare these days) I have used pads but rarely do unless I have a major appointment or something where I cannot risk a leak. I tend to get BV or the yeasties every time Aunt Flo is around but have noticed I have less trouble when I use only Kleenex to prevent leaks. These cloth pads would be great. I would have no plastics or ESPECIALLY deoderants (which I try to avoid) down there. Maybe I'll invest in a few....
Question here for Mellu --- How many would a person need for a regular period?? Mine are only a couple times a year and usually very light. I would want enough to make it through a couple days I expect. Do you have any trouble with them seeping through a little to your panties or do you have some sort of liner inbetween??
