I haven't looked into the rules about it yet, but if they're not using it for driving an electric motor for additional acceleration, or some sort of push to pass system, they have a bunch of high pressure pneumatic and hydraulic systems that could be charged with it. Engine valves are pneumatic, then there's power steering and engine accessories that are hydraulic.
