Lot's of medication (I keep 7 forms of medication next to my bed) and like any form of suffering I try to transcend it. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes not so much. 2 years ago it was horrible, I was almost ready to die.
I've also learned a lot about what makes it worse and what can trigger it, so behavioral modification helps too. Its really just like any other handicap, just not obvious like losing the use of your legs. It takes some getting use to.
These days that's really one of the hardest parts of it, very few people can understand the condition, having never experienced vertigo to such an extreme. Which sucks when I have to make concessions in my relationships (i.e. I can't go to concerts, drink much, use CRT monitors, etc) so potential friends often think I'm snubbing them by making excuses.
