Thanks to him I own two guns: a S&W 442 .38 revolver that I intend to take my concealed carry test with (after I get eye surgery) and a Walther P22. I also have quite a few "wants" when it comes to firearms but since funds are limited I try not to look at them too much.
We have a shotgun for home defense, as well. Actually, we have three. And a few rifles and a handful of handguns. Unfortunately, there are a lot of gun regulations around here so we can't go shooting where we live, even though there are plenty of deer to be hunted.

Do you fire the shotguns very often? I know one thing, there is a really big difference when firing #8 shot compared to 00BK! I have fired a Walther P22 and I like it as well although I don't own one. Trish carries the S&W .38 most of the time but she has several others. She killed her first deer when she was 16 or 17 using a 243 rifle at about 200 yards (I think she said). I've never actually went deer hunting and she's always said It'd be a good experience for me, but I dunno...maybe I'll give it a try someday? She told me that its tradition that I rub my face in the guts of my first kill, LOL! She is joking...right?
