I watched the show last night with her hosting immediately after posting this thread and it was almost unwatchable. Two of the guests were actually quite reasonable and open minded, but she shut them down and was totally close minded, even cutting off the African American comedian who was insistent that Obama was genuinely a "cool guy", and hard to dislike, etc.
Another guest responded to the anti-McCain comments made by a fifth grade school teacher by stating that she also criticized Obama, but Ingram wouldn't hear any of that, either. It's unfortunate, as it was a clear indication of the media showing only part of a given scenario and basing a large part of their story strictly on the portions that correspond with the picture they want to paint.
In a sense, I found her presence on the show to be more like the O'Reilly Factor of old, and perhaps it's fitting that I see her host after making this thread. Given that, I still think O'Reilly is closer to middle than he used to be, even if it is disingenuine and strictly a ratings grab.
Are there any mainstream television news shows similar to The O'Reilly Factor that are genuinely bi-partisan, or at least less biased? I really enjoy the Charlie Rose show, but beyond that am not one that watches a lot of television, especially in regards to news shows and the like.
