I've had a sole intance of vertigo in my life, and it was due to malnutrition and famine after days of bedrest.
The after-effect of it was not pleasant, as I had to peel myself off the floor.
I couldn't stand it for more than a few seconds, so my empathic vibes are to those who have acquired this malady (/bad pun on my part).
