Two games with neither Billups or Iverson in the line up, and the Pistons looked solid. Charlotte is not a quality opponent, but the young players off the bench stepped up and didn't get distracted by the hoopla surrounding the trade. The Toronto game was a bigger test. The coach and team passed.
Iverson says all of the right things, and if he and Sheed find some common ground, this will be a very good team. We'll start finding out Friday in New Jersey and Sunday against Boston.
The biggest liability I see is Qwame Brown. The guy is a walking turnover machine.
