Sure, in all likelihood, at the midway point you'll be laughing at how blindly optimistic I was at the beginning, but it's not like it can't be done. Many teams in the league got better, but the Lakers got better too. And one team that didn't get better was Boston, their only hurdle.

The biggest problems in going 73-9 are probably intensity... a few off nights or teams getting pumped to beat the Lakers.. and injuries. Sore pinkie, bad knee, anything can happen during the grind of the regular season.
60+wins is a tremendous accomplishment.
