I went back to his room to check on the computer again, and the PSU still heats up rather quickly. Again the computer shut down soon after starting up. The recommendation I gave him was to replace the PSU, does anyone know an affordable 400w PSU (by affordable I mean college student affordable)?

Well, we're doing mighty fine, I do suppose, in our streak of lightning cars and fancy clothes. But just so we're reminded of the ones who are held back, up front there ought to be a man in black.
