My current choice is the Bic Soft Feel Medium.
I'll use other things, but I won't like it.
I've been told that my penmanship is very good... "for a man."
I've always felt that if you have any respect for your audience, you will make your writing as legible as possible. I know many people with horrific penmanship, but they get offended if you ask them to decipher their scratchings.
I'll use a pencil only if I expect to make mistakes.
