I'm looking forward to Left 4 Dead for PC mainly. Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 are also on the list but they're so far off that there's no reason to even think about them.
Vista or XP should be fine, especially if you plan on getting 4 GB of ram. Just make sure your videocard and CPU are good also.
