The Republican party has lost its way. McCain is going to prove that a "maverick" is not right for the party. The second place person was Romney, an "empty suit" with a good haircut is not right for the party either. Palin is showing the base that a person can stand on principle and generate enthusiasm. She will motivate more like her to rise to the top of the party.
I am looking forward to see what happens in the next 4 years if Obama wins and Congress has enough power to totally control the agenda. Like I wrote in another post: Is the business cycle going to end? Will the "rich" not get richer? Will inner city schools stop under-performing? Will there be an end to homelessness? Will unemployment go to 0%?
I would be worried if I were a Democrat, they won't have anyone to blame any more. What will they do?

Perhaps, McCain thought he was rehabilitated.
