I have a separate thread about this but I've tried that. I did cardio for 30 minutes a day for 4-5 months and didn't lose a pound. I gave up on that and tried jogging for 45 minutes and I didn't lose a pound either. My body laughs at cardio.
I did give up eating a lot of pasta (I used to eat it twice a week at least, in small portions) and that helped me get over the last plateau I was on thankfully.
