It's actually extremely natural-feeling when you put your hand on it. All the switches and buttons and dials and levers fall immediately under your fingertips and thumb. Most comfortable mouse I've ever used--and I have a history of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my right hand, so that's important. It keeps my wrist in a nice, prone position rather than flexing it like some other mice I've used.
Your other criticisms are valid, though. It's heavy, and wireless mice are slower than wired. My desk setup wouldn't really allow for a wired mouse, though, and I don't play any high-twitch games.
