mmhhmm....It needs a bit of work to get it to be a good multimedia OS. For example, forget about using PowerDVD, all playing a DVD does is restart your PC. WinDVD works great though.
Games..... OpenGL games don't seem to like it that much (eg. Soldier Of Fortune II etc) but DX games (eg. any Unreal2-engine powered games, and most RTS's etc) run perfectly, as long as you've followed the guide on www.msfn.org and enabled DirectX9 and Hardware Acceleration.
The only thing ive found that has no workaround and refuses to work in any way is the OpenMG software for Sony's NetMD recorders. It simply doesn't work.
But overall, 2k3 is sleeker, feels a lot faster, more customisable and comes without the irritating XP disney-style traffic light buttons etc. As you can see i'm using a theme, for which i had to do the uxtheme.dll hack and enable themes in Services.
