Myself ONS's were a lot more enjoyable years ago. I think as we mature there's a need for more of a connection with the other person to have enjoyable sex.

When I was very young I beleived that sex can happen only with some one whom you know and relate to. I was waiting for a soulmate.
Now utterly frankly the very thought of having a ONS is really hot. But its all too late. I got committed at 25 and after that it is just not possible.
I dont know about the self-esteem thing... I just know I missed some amazing fun
