But I can sleep anywhere (esp. if I'm tired enough), so when he's snoring loudly and resting comfortably - I just go & sleep on the living room couch or in the guest room! It's nicer & easier than being bitchy & "jabbing" him in the ribs and saying "roll over".

Oh, no no no... what you do is stroke his hair while he is falling asleep. When he starts snoring, just pluck a hair out of the top of his head. When he snorts and wakes up, you pretend you are sleeping. He falls back to sleep...snores...pluck! This goes on until he either stops snoring, or he has a bald spot atop his head.
