Hi,
The food is fine, as far as I'm concerned. Most of the dishes have meat as the main ingredient, and sometimes fish. Italian food is also very popular. Is there anything in particular you would like to know about food?

Well, he is popular, but I wouldn't say that he's a national hero. Football players are far more popular (when they are winning, of course
), and also sportsman and sportswomen like Ivan Ljubičić (tennis player), Janica Kostelić (skiing - she was extremely popular a few years ago), and some others. But, if you asked people in Croatia to choose their national hero - I believe Ante Gotovina would be chosen (a general from the war 15 years ago, now on trial in Den Haag).
