I've had a few live-in relationships and have always slept on the left side of the bed (facing the bed) and never had a guy object or argue with my choice, until there was one that said that the left side had to be his and had been used to that way with his ex-wife of many years.

I did get him to change his mind

but it did set me to wondering how many have a preference, if it's based on gender, power, comfort, where the bathroom or window is located. Or is it merely left or right-handedness for spooning and tantalizing throughout the night?

Thoughts?
