I'm glad you brought up this fact, host. One of the more important pictures in the thread:

supposedly shows an area of WTC 7 to have been scooped out, and
could have possibly explained the collapse (though not all that well). Now it seems that the NIST doesn't believe that structural damage from debris contributed to the collapse at all, only small fires.
The fact of the matter is that, even when one assumes that fire-protected steel expands at an unreasonable rate when heat from fires are applied, it still doesn't explain the appearance of the collapse caught on video.
