That was a part of my point when in my statement earlier that essentially would you perform this regardless of gender? You being a massage therapist, if you saw me complaining of soreness(and we knew each other) I wouldn't think anything of it. I have a friend who is a massage therapist and he does this all the time, no big deal.. he likes to help his friends out and show off his technique.
If random guy/girl "X" approached me and said why don't you take off your shoe and I will give you a massage, I would think it odd. Honestly, I would see it as rather a rather strange offer from anyone I didn't know very well, and most that I do. Of course I am also putting this into a perspective of someone who I don't know very well.
