Mount & Blade is good stuff, if you can get around the low production values (it's developed by a husband and wife team). It kind of reminds me of Sid Meier's Pirates!, except taking place on land and having massive army-based combat rather than naval combat. The combat is extremely fun, it's completely action based and unlike anything I've played before.
