I argue well-integrated applications shouldn't need copy and paste. What, you're going to do spreadsheet work on your iPhone? C'mon. A "dial" button that integrates the contacts app to the phone app is really all you need on a smart phone, right? I've really never even thought about needing copy and paste--even on my Treo that I've used for five years.

Tell you the truth, the predictive speller does a GREAT job. At first I sweatted hitting the right virtual buttons, but these days I'm sloppy as hell (and FAST as hell) and I let the software figure out what I mean, and like 99% of the time, it's right!
