Wonder if George Strait is playing there this weekend?
It was Pusan when I was there, now it seems they call it Busan. I was actually surprised to find I couldn't find it on a google map once I picked it as a location. It's the second largest city in South Korea and it's main port city.
Another port I spent time in back in the 80's while cleaning toilets on the USS Cape Cod AD-43. Shopping was big there. I must have brought back 50 pairs of Nike shoes, all different sizes for family and friends. The shoes were being sold right outside the gate of the factory for about $3 a pair. Bought a full set of luggage for under $50, which was well made and lasted nearly 20 years. Also had a nice suit tailor made there for $26. After the Navy I used that suit for job interviews and eventually, once hired, for important meetings and court dates. I still have that suit and recently I've been able to fit into it again, too bad it's wool and doesn't really work well here in Mexico. I hang on to it, like many fashions it's gone in and out of style several times over the years. It works well if someone in the family is getting married, buried or going to jail. While moving down here I found an unopened box with a pair of Nike's, my size, in a closet. They, unlike the suit, are not in style. Screw it they're comfortable and I use them to walk in the morning. My good friend down here saw them one day and asked if that the latest style in the US. I of course told him "why yes, they are."
You're up fellow Parrothead.
