Well, and indeed, he might be... and I don't necessarily have a problem with myself going to something like this, either (as an individual). But that doesn't mean it would be a good idea for our marriage/relationship in general. Two individuals wanting to do something together doesn't mean that it's always a good idea for both of them, if that makes sense.
