well gang, the search is over and I am now the proud owner of the beast in the pictures below...and I gotta tell you

rides like a dream, power to spare, excellent condition and best of all, it's MINE, ALL MINE...whooooohoooooooo!
(details, for those interested: 86 Honda V65 Magna, 1100cc, liquid cooled, shaft-driven...and yes, the first thing I did when I got it home is take off that silly looking tank bag. Think I'll try to mount it to the back of the sissybar.)
I want to thank ngdawg again for his generous offer to go look at the one in Jersey for me (which unfortunately got snapped up before he could ever get to see it). I'll be making a donation to the TFP real soon in his honor.
This one I bought locally in Marysville, Ohio, from a guy who used to work for Honda. It's been VERY well taken care of and is in excellent shape for a 22 year old bike.
