This is a intriguing trade to bolster a Jets team that can make the playoffs in one of the weakest divisions in the NFL. Favre surprised a lot of his critics (including me) with his statistically efficient year in 2007. I didn't think Tampa Bay would have been a good fit due to their lack of offensive weapons and that they appear to be better suited with a 'game manager' (Jeff Garcia) at the helm. Interestingly enough, Garcia and Favre are just about a year apart in age.
The obvious question is will Favre be as accurate and less interception prone in 08 as he was in 07. He is more than capable, and if it doesn't work out, the Jets are not giving up much. Shit, their increase in popularity alone is worth the deal financially. For the Packers, they get rid of a headache (not Favre personally, but sadly, thats with this situation has turned into) and trade him out of conference.
