I use a non-impact "robotic fitness" system (they stick you on various tables and machines move you), because my knees are shot from three years of high school soccer, but if I do that with the binge-and-starve system, I get fatter.
Pre-pregnancy I maintained 140 lbs on a 5' 2" wide-framed body. I peaked during pregnancy at 211 lbs. Moving to 5 small meals a day dropped me 10 lbs the first week, and I've been consistently dropping 1-1.5 lbs per week, even while breast-feeding. I'm down to 165 now.

Breastfeeding is my only diet at this point, and was with my other 2 girls as well. It did more for my body to nurse the girls than it did for me to eat less or healthier. It relaxed me, let me enjoy this one little bundle without distractions (some of the time anyways

) and dropped more weight than the other 2 options have for me combined. When I'm finished nursing the baby, I'll probably get more routine with my exercising, but I really have been blessed in that nursing has helped my weight come off so well.
