Thinkpads are great. I own more than one. Go <a href="http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?lang=en_US&catalogId=-840&categoryId=2035724&cgmenbr=1&langId=-1&cgrfnbr=2035724&cntrfnbr=1&storeId=1&cntry=840/>here</a> for Thinkpad info and drivers. Since you have changed the original setup you might have some problems.
Either way, Thinkpads are the, (enter your modern jargon here) bomb.

Gotta love a powerful 'puter with an illuminated keyboard, small footprint, nice video for the 15" screen. Yadada, the Thinkpad is the way to go!
