CPU Speed Question
Hi. I have an Dell XPS 410 desktop with a Core 2 6420 at 2.13 GHz. But most of the time CPUid and Everest show the CPU speed as 1.596 GHz. Then it will occasionally it jumps back to 2.128 GHz for a few seconds. I have checked the BIOS and Speedstep is off. Any ideas? Oh, XP Pro SP3. Thanks!
