I thought it ironic to post lengthy articles about how we no longer read lengthy articles in a traditional sense. No, I don't think Google is making us stupid. I think we are making us stupid. Society and the work force expect too much of a human being that we have these fantastic electric thinking machines to help us get the work done. We are required to work and think and move and get well and produce product at an inhuman pace. Is it any wonder we don't want to "waste" time reading a long article when it is probably faster (if not faster, but less patience is required) just to search for a new link that has our answer spelled out in the abstract?
