Re my comment re groping, this was a spur-of-the-moment joke. Probably not a fair one and not one intended to generalize re Japanese.
In a large group, I would expect that certain things will occur more frequently, even on a per-head basis. However I've always understood though that Japan has a documented low crime-rate overall. This too is often mentioned in papers/journals etc.
