And I don't mean to say that he lied or pretended to be something he was not, we are definitely copacetic - sexually and otherwise, but he responded to more than just the fact that I was a woman with a picture on a sex site. His interaction with me, from the very first email, didn't come off as throwaway lines that he emailed to 25 women a day. Like,
the dreaded, 'Yo, what's up.'
or
'You're really hot. Let's talk.'
'Wanna suck this?'
'I love to lick pussy. Can I lick yours?'
oh, and some of my favorites 'I'm going to be in town on such and such a day, wanna get together and fuck?'

And at the same time, you want to avoid being too asexual. You don't want to bullshit and pretend that you're not there to meet people for sex because that's just silly. Of course, you're there to meet people for sex, everyone is there to meet people for sex. It's just that, and I'm only talking about myself here, I wanted to meet interesting people for sex (or, in my case, I was looking for a cyber-relationship). I realize that interesting guys might be behaving in these typical ways because they're under the impression that it's what they are supposed to do, but it works against them when they are dealing with women like me. And, from what I have learned from other women at AFF, lots of others, too. Especially if they have been on the site for an extended period of time.

So, I think it's important to:
1. treat the women like they are more than just an advertisment - there are real women behind the ads (except for the ones who are not, lol - some really are just ads; and some of them aren't women at all!)

2. be sexy, but not stupid

3. realize that these women are probably getting 40+ emails a day from men and most of them are coming across as either, sleazy (like Dimitri, the lover, heh) or dull and unimaginative.

If I had more time, I could try to discuss it in more detail. If anyone's interested in talking about this subject we could do that. I find it kind of interesting now that I'm sitting here and thinking about it.
