Someone actually did say to try and use an USB hdd enclosure, put the 60 in that and see if the system would recognize it allowing me to backup information off it onto the new 80 gig system, then just trash the 60 gig hdd.

But I also heard before that the game saves and game data on the HDD is system specific to thwart copying of game data easily between systems with a usb drive, so I think it may not work period even if I was able to get the new system to "see" the external drive from the old system.
