Actually, it does exist, and it happens exactly as you say. I don't know where that thread went, but you must have been gone during that time... there was a clip all about guys with these life-sized, silicone, very lifelike women. So that's where my reaction is coming from... my idea of a guy who likes this idea, appears in my head as one of those dudes with poor hygiene and no social skills. Not a bad thing, but I didn't imagine you being one of those.
Robotic bodyguard, now that could be cool. Large, scary dogs work pretty well too, though... cheaper as well.
